In normal view I have a vertical bar on the left that
simply shows a small rectangle and the slide number next
to it. I guess this is what they call the "Outline View".
Anyway, somehow the rectangles got reset to large. I want
them small. How do I change the size of these icons in
the "outline" portion of the view?

- If you look at the top part of that left panel you will see that it can
either show "Outline" or "Slides". The Slides are normally larger since
they are thumbnail images of the slides. Click back on the "Outline" TAB
and it should shrink back up. Remember you can also drag the size of the
left hand window down by clicking on the divider line between the windows
and dragging to the left.

- If Bill's suggestion doesn't get it done, click in the outline pane then choose
View, Zoom and click 33%.
